MCA was the best.
By now you've heard of MCA's passing on numerous music channels...but I needed to share my own tribute here in some way.
I always felt he was the awesomest for his work with the Tibetan Freedom Concerts, his hella dope rapping (shout out to Mike D and Ad Rock though of course, but MCA was always my personal fave) - his awesome gray hair - and naturally, the fact that we share the same initials. :)
But truly, MCA seemed like a genuinely good guy, a positive voice in the world of music, which is not always the most positive place.
The Beastie Boys were AMAZING live, more amazing than I ever could've imagined. And I'd hoped I'd get to see them again soon, but alas the time has passed.
Rest in peace, MCA. We love you.

Just Label It Already!

Many other countries are already labeling genetically modified foods. We need to get on the bandwagon here! Then we can at least make an informed choice when we're at the grocery store.
